MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Those neon-green Nice Ride Minnesota bicycles are about to hit the streets again in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
The program expects to distribute bikes and run some tests next Monday. The system will open for its third season soon after that.
Riders can check out a bike at a kiosk, ride it to another spot and leave it there.
Officials plan to expand Nice Ride into downtown St. Paul in May and June. Additional locations also are planned along the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis.
The bikes are available until November.
